About Severn Cooling & Electrical
Our Story
Established in 2023, Severn Cooling & Electrical are a small company based in the Forest of Dean providing high quality air conditioning and electrical installation, service and repairs to the South West and South Wales area.
Our directors, Todd & Jonathan, have a combined experience of 25 years in the air conditioning industry and 10 years in the electrical industry. At Severn Cooling & Electrical Ltd we model ourselves on high quality customer service and workmanship.
Todd Montague | Director
Todd grew up and lives in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. He left school and started training as an electrician, after 2 years he started an apprenticeship and completed his NVQ Level 3 with a local company carrying out a wide variety of domestic and commercial electrical work. After starting at a new company he had the opportunity to retrain as an air conditioning and refrigeration engineer and completed an NVQ Level 3 apprenticeship working in office and data centre environment.
Jonathan Wilcox | Director
Jonathan completed an advanced mechanical engineering apprenticeship before moving on to air conditioning and refrigeration. Starting with Macwhirters Ltd and then moving on to the world leading manufacturer Carrier for 10 years as a service engineer carrying out service, maintenance and commissioning duties. Moved on to Cool-therm as a Senior Engineer where he was responsible for the training and development of improvers, apprentices and junior engineers, also covering service manager duties when required. 19 years' experience within the Air conditioning and refrigeration industry.
